Brooke Larimer

Co-founder & Head of Foundation Services

Brooke Larimer is an arts administrator, nonprofit strategist, and working mezzo-soprano whose career sits at the intersection of music performance and organizational leadership. As Head of Foundation Services at The Kendrick Arts Group, she oversees the governance, compliance, policy, budgeting, staffing, and client-relations work that keeps foundations and composer estates functioning at their best — bringing to that work more than a decade of experience building systems and relationships in the contemporary music field.

A co-founder of The Kendrick Arts Group, Brooke also co-founded Boston Opera Collaborative, where she served as founding President and remained active as an artist and board member for many years. Earlier in her career, she was on faculty at Mount Holyoke College and served as Manager of Operations & Administration at Prize4Life, a nonprofit dedicated to finding a cure for ALS. She is co-host of the Indie Opera Podcast.

Based in the Bronx, Brooke holds degrees in music performance from Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University and The Boston Conservatory. She has performed on stages across the United States and Europe in roles from the canon and in numerous premieres of new works.

In addition to her work at The Kendrick Arts Group, Brooke serves as alto section leader at Round Hill Community Church in Greenwich, Connecticut, and works with individual artists in her practice as a certified ADHD coach.
